Orthoptist & Teaching Lead – Elevate Clinical Education

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is extending its orthoptic teaching lead role by 9 hours a week to support and develop teaching within the department. The post involves clinical orthoptic work and organising placements for orthoptic students and learners from partner universities.

You will mentor junior staff, lead teaching initiatives, and collaborate with ophthalmology teams to implement a robust training programme and apprenticeship ideas.
