School Travel Passenger Assistant: Safe Journeys for Kids

Southampton City Council is seeking Casual Passenger Assistants for the School Travel Service to support children on their daily journeys to and from school. You will accompany and safeguard one or more children, communicating with families, drivers and school staff to ensure safety and well‑being.

The role is Grade 6 with an hourly rate of £14.92 and a pro rata annual salary band of £28,792–£31,022. DBS check, two references, and enhanced medical training may be required; travel costs are not
