Job Description
A vacancy has arisen for a full time Information Services Officer (ISO) working in the Child Abuse Investigation and Safeguarding Unit (CAISU).
The CAISU work with partner agencies to protect vulnerable children and investigate crimes perpetrated against them. The post holder will work closely with partner agencies to share information, understand the voice of the child, keep them safe and achieve the right outcome for the child.
The key responsibilities of this role are to review and collate police material requested by other agencies and to represent the Constabulary at multi‑agency Child Protection Case Conferences. These conferences may be held in person or virtually and so a full UK driving licence will be required. The successful applicant will have excellent attention to detail and the ability to interrogate computer systems, analyse information and make sound decisions around the disclosure and presentation of information in accordance with Data Protection, record management and information sharing legislation. The role is based in the southern area of the county but has flexibility to work from other locations including from home.
The position is for 37 hours a week, working between 0800 x 1600 hours Monday to Friday.
