An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Officer to join a growing organisation on a full-time, permanent basis.
The successful candidate will play an important role in recruiting and retaining employees, supporting a positive employee experience and helping to develop and strengthen the organisations employer brand.
This is a multi-site position, working across sites in Magherafelt and Coalisland. Travel between sites will be required, therefore access to your own vehicle is essential.
The Role
- Act as a key point of contact for employees, building strong working relationships at all levels throughout the organisation.
- Provide guidance and support to line managers on a range of HR-related queries, helping them develop and maintain high-performing teams.
- Work closely with management across different sites to ensure company culture and values are implemented consistently.
- Coordinate recruitment and onboarding activities, helping to attract and secure new talent.
- Support early-career development programmes, including apprenticeships, placements, graduate opportunities and work experience.
- Build relationships with schools and colleges to promote the organisation as an employer, including attending careers events and organising student visits and site tours.
- Develop and deliver internal development programmes and coordinate external training activities.
- Support employee health and wellbeing initiatives, including organising and promoting relevant events.
- Implement and communicate HR policies and procedures, ensuring employees are aware of their requirements and keeping the employee handbook up to date.
- Monitor employee timekeeping and attendance, taking appropriate action where required.
- Maintain and develop the organisations HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring key functions are effectively utilised.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise and adapt within a fast-paced environment.
- A creative and proactive approach, with the ability to introduce new ideas and initiatives.
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in a similar HR generalist role.
- CIPD qualified or currently working towards a CIPD qualification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
- Experience working across multiple sites.
- Experience with HRIS systems and employee development initiatives.
