Overview
In this role you maintain HPS plant and equipment to keep them compliant and operating as designed. You will plan, prioritise and coordinate maintenance work, including contractor activities, to meet business objectives. You will manage spares, lead plant improvement initiatives, and own maintenance documentation and qualification activities. You’ll apply core technical expertise, mentor juniors, and work with the team to ensure reliability and safety. Responsibilities
- Maintain, monitor and improve HPS engineering systems and documentation to ensure compliance with Business, Company, ESH, cGMP and Engineering standards
- Plan, organise and prioritise workload and coordinate contractor maintenance to meet plant availability targets
- Procure and manage spares to maximise equipment availability and minimise maintenance costs
- Lead and participate in plant improvement projects; act as project plant representative; support definition, installation and operational qualification of equipment; update and obtain approvals for controlled maintenance documentation
- Develop and apply high level technical expertise across core trades; learn and share knowledge for specialist maintenance; provide effective solutions to technical problems
- Work collaboratively in a team while taking ownership to meet individual, team and business targets
Key requirements
- Safe working procedures and permit to work, RA/MS, LOTO
- Team player with ability to self-start and take ownership
- Strong time management and communication skills; able to work to schedule and deadlines
- Ability to understand P&ID, engineering drawings and specifications
