Overview

In this role, you support MRGR’s model risk governance and validation activities within a global team. You help manage the model risk framework, ensuring timely reviews, risk reporting, and escalation when issues arise. You’ll coordinate with policy and product/technology teams to enhance processes, and you’ll contribute to regulatory, audit, and stress testing efforts like CCAR. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to drive improvements and ensure effective execution of risk programs.

Responsibilities

  • Support model risk coverage for MRGR Lines of Business, prepare material for Risk Committees and Forums, and assist with prioritization of model risk issues
  • Lead model review and remediation planning, and assist MRORs with prioritization
  • Monitor and report model risk metrics, and escalate breaches as needed
  • Centrally manage programs owned by MRGR to ensure smooth execution (e.g., inventory confirmations, CCAR)
  • Engage with senior leaders and development/model review teams on regulatory and audit deliverables
  • Identify process pain points and collaborate with Product, Policy, Analytics to implement enhancements
  • Coordinate with policy and product/technology teams to improve model risk policy and procedures

Key requirements

  • Proven project/program management capabilities
  • Understanding of risk management frameworks and the Three Lines of Defense in large organizations
  • Experience working with model risk and/or model development functions
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Ability to synthesize data and present concise commentary to senior audiences
  • Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
