Logistics Coordinator

Overview

In this role you will coordinate transport requests, craft load plans, and optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while maximizing cost efficiency. Based in Reading or Aberdeen, you will be the logistics nexus for our transportation activities in the oil & gas sector. You will ensure compliance with international regulations and internal standards to safeguard supply chain quality. You will work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and validate transport requests to meet delivery deadlines
• Develop load plans and optimize cargo utilization
• Plan shipments, consolidate routes, and exploit backloads for cost savings
• Monitor shipment execution and proactively manage deviations
• Ensure compliance with international transport regulations and internal standards
• Use logistics planning tools and systems to track and report status
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers
