Embedded Engineer – Electronic Security systems

Overview

In this role you will lead mobilisation and delivery of access control and CCTV projects for a portfolio of clients in the City of London. You will support enterprise-level application implementations, manage migrations from legacy systems, and provide expert troubleshooting on-site. Expect a fast-paced environment with strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely and quality security solutions. The position offers hands-on design, deployment, and management of integrated security systems at scale, with a clear impact on client security posture.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mobilisation and delivery of access control and CCTV projects
• Support enterprise-level application implementations
• Manage migrations from legacy systems
• Provide expert troubleshooting for security systems

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders

Key requirements

• Genetec Security Centre experience and Synergis certification
• Victor VMS/CCTV Application certification
• Strong design, deployment, and management skills for enterprise security systems
• Understanding of ICT infrastructure, hosting, and networks
• Proven track record of successful security system implementations and migrations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to meet project deadlines and communicate effectively
