Software Engineer III – AIML Experimentation, Observability and Governance

Overview

In this role you will design, build, and maintain secure, scalable software as part of an agile team in AMDP. You will contribute across the full stack and cloud, shaping production-ready solutions on AWS with Terraform, while mentoring juniors and guiding the SDLC, testing, and security practices. You will leverage AI-assisted development tools to boost quality and delivery, ensuring resiliency and secure coding standards. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position focused on robust software that supports the firm’s digital capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and maintain robust software solutions with a focus on scalability, security, and stability
• Develop high-quality, secure production code across the stack and provide technical guidance to junior engineers
• Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize performance taking system relationships into account
• Drive automation and IaC with Terraform and CI/CD pipelines across the SDLC
• Develop, review, and debug front-end, back-end, and cloud code ensuring best practices
• Analyze large data sets to inform secure, stable application development
• Champion agile methodologies, resiliency, and security throughout development
• Leverage enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity
• Foster diversity, inclusion, and knowledge sharing within the team

Key requirements

• Production-oriented software engineering experience in large-scale environments
• Strong Full Stack background (front-end and back-end)
• Proficiency in one or more modern languages (Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Solid experience with AWS and Terraform
• Ability to mentor junior engineers
• Experience with CI/CD, resiliency, and security best practices
• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience in agile teams and using AI-assisted development tools
• Understanding of responsible AI use and security in engineering workflows
