Financial Controller

Overview

As Financial Controller you’ll oversee the Gibraltar finance function within a fast-growing, startup-like company and collaborate with the UK finance team. You will drive local financial reporting, budgeting, and strategic insights to support growth and profitability. The role emphasizes process optimization and automation of controls in a small team environment, with a clear impact on business decisions. This position offers a strong growth path within a dynamic, international iGaming business.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of local monthly management accounts and financial reporting
• Support strategic planning and business growth initiatives with financial insights and risk assessments
• Budgeting and forecasting with KPI analysis
• Provide financial analysis to inform decisions, cost-saving initiatives, and profitability improvements
• Drive process optimization and automation of financial controls
• Collaborate with the UK-based finance team

Key requirements

• Qualified finance professional ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar
• Experience in a similar role/industry preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAGE accounting software
• Credible and confident communicator at all levels of the business
