Overview
In this role you drive cost performance and reporting for major projects, ensuring timely data against baselines. You will develop and maintain cost control structures, budgets, and forecasts while tracking accruals, commitments, and risks. You’ll produce Earned Value Management outputs to support decision-making and change control. You join a global, project-oriented engineering team delivering large-scale programmes with a focus on cost discipline and delivery certainty.
Responsibilities
- Develop project cost control data structures to track actual costs
- Establish and align the project control budget with baselines
- Track actual costs against cost controls, including internal and external spend
- Monitor accruals and commitments against budget constraints
- Build project forecasts (ETC) and estimates at complete (EAC)
- Produce accurate and timely project information including Earned Value Management
- Track contingency and exposure from risk events and remaining risks
- Monitor change control to align with baselines and data structures
- Identify key project trends to inform future change controls
Key requirements
- Qualified graduate in a relevant discipline
- five to ten years experience in delivery of project controls for major projects or programmes
