Overview

As a Software Engineer, you contribute to building and deploying traditional and serverless applications in an agile setup. You will work with cloud-native technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and observability to deliver scalable solutions. The role sits in Accenture’s Software & Platform Engineering team, collaborating with cross-functional partners to turn ideas into production-ready products. You will tackle security, performance, and accessibility considerations to drive value at scale. This opportunity offers hands-on work with modern tech and a path to impact across client projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop traditional and serverless applications and services in an agile environment, integrating with storage, messaging, and other architectural components
• Deploy applications to the cloud using containers, with CI/CD and strong observability in production
• Ensure quality through documentation and unit/integration/contract testing, with a focus on security and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-value software
• Support and improve build automation and DevOps practices to enable rapid, reliable delivery

Key requirements

• A few years of experience in Java, TypeScript, Python, or Go
• Hands-on experience with GenAI or active personal GenAI projects
• Experience with Cloud Native technologies on AWS
• Scripting experience (Python, Shell, or similar) to support DevOps/Quality Engineering
• Build automation tooling for CI/CD pipelines
• Strong focus on accessibility, security, performance, and caching
• Experience with NoSQL datastore solutions (Elasticsearch) is a plus
• Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities; debugging complex issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to lead small/medium tasks
