BMS Commissioning & Integration Engineer

Overview

In this field-based role, you will service and commission Honeywell BMS systems across sites in Scotland, delivering proactive maintenance, reactive service, and fault-finding. You’ll integrate multiple systems to a common head end, optimise BMS projects, and build strong customer partnerships. This role sits at the heart of Honeywell’s mission to improve safety, energy efficiency, and operational performance in buildings. You will work with a focused, growth-oriented team and travel across Scotland as needed.

Responsibilities

• Commission and optimise BMS projects and modifications at customer locations
• Produce service reports, site surveys and commissioning documentation
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on BMS systems with service team support
• Fault finding and complex system diagnostics on Honeywell BMS systems
• Build strong customer relationships and deliver excellent service
• Travel across Scotland to customer sites as required

Key requirements

• Proven experience servicing and commissioning BMS systems
• Knowledge of BMS platforms; ideally Tridium/Niagara with BACnet, Modbus, LON or similar protocols
• Experience in integration of multiple systems to a common head end
• Strong fault-finding skills with good HVAC controls understanding
• Electrically competent with ability to modify existing control strategies
