Your new role Reporting directly to the FC, the Finance Manager will play a key leadership role within the finance function, overseeing the preparation of management accounts, driving financial performance reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
Key responsibilities will include:Preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts within tight reporting deadlinesOwnership of balance sheet reconciliations and monthly P&L review against budgetMaintaining strong financial controls and ensuring key financial ratios are achievedLiaising with external auditors, banks and financial institutionsLeading and developing a finance team, providing coaching, training and performance supportDeveloping and enhancing business scorecards and KPI reportingWorking closely with operational stakeholders to analyse gross margin and performance variancesSupporting business improvement initiatives and finance transformation projectsAssisting with ERP implementation and ongoing process improvementsProducing detailed financial modelling and commercial analysis to support business decisionsSupporting the CFO with ad-hoc financial and strategic projectsWhat you’ll need to succeed ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualificationMinimum 3 years’ post-qualified experience within a manufacturing environmentStrong experience preparing management accounts and financial reportingAdvanced financial modelling and analytical skillsExperience managing or mentoring finance staffExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilitiesStrong commercial awareness with the ability to influence business decisionsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet demanding deadlinesExperience supporting ERP implementation projects would be highly advantageousPrevious exposure to international or group reporting environments would be beneficialWhat you’ll get in return This is an outstanding opportunity to join a highly successful business that offers genuine career progression alongside an attractive rewards package including:Competitive salary package
