SENIOR CIVIL ENGINEER

Overview

In this role you will join a forward‑thinking London-based Development Infrastructure team to lead high-profile masterplanning and infrastructure delivery across sectors such as regeneration, education, healthcare, industrial, aviation and large mixed-use schemes. You will design and implement roads, drainage, earthworks, utilities and enabling works from concept to completion, and develop masterplans for planning submissions. The role combines technical delivery with client liaison, mentoring and supporting business development, within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of roads, drainage, earthworks, utilities and enabling works
• Create development infrastructure masterplans for planning submissions
• Deliver site-wide and plot-level infrastructure solutions aligned with UK standards
• Manage projects and coordinate with clients and stakeholders
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development
• Contribute to business development activities and opportunities

Key requirements

• minimum 5 years’ experience
• strong technical experience in flood risk assessments
• drainage strategies (surface and foul) and SuDS design
• earthworks and highways design
• understanding of approvals (S38 and S278)
• experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, InfoDrainage or MicroDrainage
