Overview

As Lead Software Engineer, you will shape LEGO’s digital shopper experience across LEGO.com and mobile apps, balancing hands-on coding with technical leadership. You’ll guide architecture, support cross-functional delivery, and enable scalable, cost-efficient platforms at high traffic. Your work will impact shopper and retail experiences through scalable, reliable systems and strong engineering standards. Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction across LEGO digital shopper experiences and product areas.
• Shape architectural decisions to support continued traffic growth with efficiency and reliability.
• Lead improvements in discoverability, performance, and scalability while ensuring compliance.
• Establish engineering standards for testing, security, observability, accessibility, and performance.
• Partner with product managers and designers from discovery through delivery.
• Hands-on contribution to software delivery and architectural guidance for multiple teams.
