Site Engineer (Main Contractor) | Permanent | Bedford

Overview

In this role you will support delivery on a 15m industrial build within a growing main contractor. You will work closely with the project team to set out, monitor progress and uphold quality on fast-paced industrial/commercial works. The position offers career progression and a chance to contribute to the execution of a multi-unit project. This is a dynamic environment that values proactive problem-solving and strong site discipline.

Pay / Benefits

• salary 50,000 – 55,000 + package

Responsibilities

• Set out and monitor site works for a 15m industrial project
• Coordinate with construction teams to maintain schedule and quality
• Support steel frame construction activities
• Ensure site safety and QA documentation
• Liaise with project stakeholders to resolve on-site issues

Key requirements

• Degree or relevant construction qualification
• Extensive experience with a reputable main contractor
• Experience on new build industrial/commercial projects
• Track record on fast-paced projects
• Steel frame experience
• SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid
