Responsibilities
- Advising on contentious procurement matters and high court litigation
- Managing a varied caseload including regulatory and IT/infrastructure disputes
- Providing procurement risk management and strategic advisory support
- Handling judicial review and breach-related disputes
- Developing and maintaining client relationships and cross-team collaboration
- Supporting a collegial team culture and maintaining high professional standards
Key requirements
- 5-8 years PQE in procurement/public/commercial litigation
- Strong knowledge of Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and Procurement Act 2023
- High Court litigation and dispute resolution experience
- Excellent drafting and legal analysis
- Confidence supervising junior lawyers
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to build client/intermediary relationships
- Excellent project management and ability to meet deadlines
