In this role you will join a leading national Private Client team in Bristol to advise high net worth clients on complex lifetime planning, wills and trusts. You will work on drafting, tax issues, and trust management while collaborating with financial planners and senior specialists. Responsibilities
- Drafting wills and trust documentation for HNW/UHNW clients
- Advising on inheritance and capital gains tax issues
- Advising on pre-exit planning opportunities for business owners
- Managing creation, management and winding up of trusts
- Collaborating with financial planners on a range of financial products
- Advising on deeds of variation, discretionary trusts and loan structures
- Handling lasting powers of attorney and related documents
- Engaging in networking, BD events, webinars and speaking opportunities
- Providing exceptional client service and building long-term relationships
Key requirements
- 4+ years PQE in Private Client
- Strong experience in wills and lifetime planning
- Passion for private client work and client interaction
- Attention to detail and solutions-focused approach
- Comfort with managing complex matters and seeking guidance when needed
- Team player with collaborative mindset
- Commitment to ongoing learning (STEP/CTA support available)
- Willingness for networking and business development
