As Lead Engineering Architect, you will steer the Engineering Architecture capability to create scalable, resilient platforms aligned with the organisation’s future state. You’ll translate strategic direction into practical standards and patterns, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver at pace. This role blends governance with autonomy, balancing innovation and control to enable sustainable technology decisions. You’ll collaborate across Technology, Enterprise Architecture and Delivery to shape engineering foundations that support long-term success. Responsibilities

• Translate architectural direction into engineering standards, patterns and guidance
• Lead engineering architecture roadmaps that support technology and business outcomes
• Build and develop a high-performing Engineering Architecture practice
• Coordinate architecture priorities, demand and capacity
• Promote reuse, interoperability and simplification across the technology estate
• Provide proportionate architecture governance and assurance for decision-making
• Support engineering teams through technical leadership and best practices
• Build strong partnerships across Technology and the organisation to drive aligned outcomes
