Senior Software Engineer Full Stack – Start-up

Overview

In this senior, greenfield role you will help shape a modern cloud-native platform from day one. You’ll work closely with the CTO in a small, experienced team to drive architectural decisions and deliver scalable APIs and frontend features. The role spans backend, APIs, integrations and cloud infrastructure, with AI-powered capabilities woven into the platform. Expect hands-on delivery in an AI-first environment, focusing on code quality, security and robust CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable APIs and cloud-native services
• Develop serverless architectures and IaC
• Own frontend work with React while supporting backend integration
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and engineering standards
• Collaborate with CTO and cross-functional teammates to align architecture with business needs
• Integrate enterprise systems and build event-driven solutions
• Leverage AI development tools to accelerate delivery
• Ensure security and quality across the stack

Key requirements

• Strong Full Stack experience with Node.js, TypeScript and React
• Experience designing scalable APIs and cloud-native apps
• Experience setting up serverless architectures on Azure or AWS
• Experience integrating enterprise systems and building event-driven solutions
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude)
• Comfort in collaborative, ownership-driven start-up style environments
