Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of charity and not-for-profit audit clients with timely delivery
  • Lead audit planning meetings and supervise fieldwork for standards compliance
  • Review audit files and financial statements, giving constructive team feedback
  • Maintain and develop client relationships as a trusted advisor
  • Coach and mentor team members; support their development
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase audit efficiency
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes affecting the charity and not-for-profit sector
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver holistic client solutions

Key requirements

  • Recognised accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  • Experience in auditing within the professional services sector
  • Knowledge of financial reporting standards for the charity and not-for-profit sector
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple engagements
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • Ability to build and maintain effective client relationships
