Alternatives Business Analyst – Asset Management

Overview

In this senior role, you will lead end-to-end analysis for a global GTOM transformation across Alternatives, shaping scalable operating models and data solutions. You’ll translate strategy into roadmaps, drive front-to-back design for portfolio management, valuations and reporting, and partner with cross-functional teams across EMEA, APAC and the Americas. You will strengthen controls, automate processes and support platform integrations to enable growth. This is a high-impact role at the heart of a major transformation.

• salary up to 125,000 plus benefits
• London location with hybrid (2 days per week)

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business analysis for Target Operating Model transformation from discovery to delivery and adoption
• Elicit and document requirements, translate strategy into actionable roadmaps and solution designs
• Design and support front-to-back solutions for portfolio management, valuations, reporting and workflows
• Define data lineage, data flows and integration patterns across investment, operations, risk and technology
• Identify opportunities to improve data quality, automation, controls, and efficiency
• Evaluate and support implementation/integration of specialist Alternatives platforms (e.g., Allvue)
• Collaborate with Business, Operations, Technology, Risk and Data teams across regions (EMEA, APAC, Americas)
• Help establish consistent, scalable operating models and controls across regions

Key requirements

• Extensive Asset Management / Investment Management experience, ideally in Alternatives or Private Markets
• Hands-on exposure to Alternatives platforms such as Allvue
• Proven senior/lead Business Analyst delivering complex front-to-back change
• Strong understanding of investment management processes, operating models and technology
• Strong data analysis skills including SQL, data lineage, data integration or governance
• Excellent stakeholder management bridging business requirements and technology delivery
• Experience in complex, global, matrixed organisations
