You shape key frameworks, own delivery across projects from setup to completion, and partner with senior leaders to align project performance with business strategy. Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and mentor a team of Project Managers and maintain competency matrices
- Ensure compliance with PMF and SOX controls; oversee monthly project reviews, contract administration (NEC/early warnings, compensation events, payments)
- Monitor commercial, quality and risk positions; own distressed projects and implement corrective actions
- Foster PM–PTL collaboration and coordinate with Global Delivery Centre to optimize resourcing
- Lead HSSE audits and champion SaferTogether culture across project delivery teams
Key requirements
- Proven project management leadership experience in UK Water or infrastructure/energy sectors
- Strong knowledge of NEC and governance/SOX frameworks
- Excellent financial and risk management skills (budgets, earned value, pricing, contractual resolutions)
- Collaborative leadership with strong stakeholder engagement and client relationship-building abilities
- Resilience and problem-solving skills with experience turning around distressed projects
