Overview

As a Senior Associate in the dispute resolution team, you will manage a diverse commercial litigation caseload and support senior lawyers. You will appear in Sheriff Court, handle ADR actions, and contribute to training junior colleagues. The role combines high‑stakes advocacy with client-focused service within a top‑ranked law firm. You will work in a hybrid setup in Glasgow and help drive career progression for the team.

Responsibilities

• Manage diverse dispute resolution caseload (commercial contracts, real estate, landlord and tenant, professional negligence)
• Appear in Sheriff Court and contribute to advocacy
• Raise and defend ADR actions including First Tier Tribunal and arbitrations
• Provide training and support to trainees and junior solicitors

Key requirements

• Proven background in commercial litigation/dispute resolution
• Ambitious and client-focused
• Advocacy experience in Sheriff Court and/or First Tier Tribunal (preferred)
