Responsibilities

  • Deliver Nuclear design work for UK and overseas clients
  • Prepare detailed technical civil engineering designs
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects
  • Support project delivery to meet programme, quality, and client expectations
  • Mentor and develop graduate team members

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s Honours Degree in Civil Engineering; Chartered status desirable
  • Experience in one or more civil engineering specialist areas
  • Ability to prepare design work across project scopes with supervision
  • Knowledge of civil engineering plants, systems, and equipment relevant to design
  • Familiarity with design guides, standards, regulations, processes
  • Ability to specify and interpret technical information
  • Experience delivering projects within multi-disciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of design tools, IT systems, and engineering software
  • Ability to mentor Graduate Engineers and Technicians
  • Strong understanding of engineering design principles
