Project Engineer

Overview

As a Project Engineer, you will oversee control systems and automation projects from design through to commissioning and handover. You will support PLC/SCADA design and integration and manage electrical drawings and technical documentation. You will coordinate engineering, installation, commissioning, and stakeholder communications to deliver on-time, within scope. This role focuses on delivering complex energy and industrial projects and working closely with clients and suppliers. You will drive problem-solving across the project lifecycle and ensure quality and safety in execution.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects from design through to commissioning and handover
• Support PLC, SCADA and control system design and integration
• Review electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation
• Coordinate engineering, installation and commissioning activities
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
• Support FAT/SAT, site testing and commissioning
• Manage technical issues throughout project delivery

Key requirements

• Project Engineering, Controls or Electrical Engineering background
• Experience with PLC and/or SCADA systems
• Good understanding of electrical drawings and schematics
• Experience across design, installation and commissioning
• Strong client and stakeholder communication
