Staff Product Designer

Overview

As a Product Designer on Wise’s FinCrime team, you will shape end-to-end experiences for both customers and internal agents across mobile and web. You’ll translate complex transaction workflows into intuitive interfaces while helping reduce operational costs and strengthen security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define roadmaps and deliver high-quality, customer-centric designs. This role offers the chance to contribute to Wise’s mission of money without borders and to influence how financial crime prevention is experienced by users worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of Wise customers and their goals
• Engage with operations agents to empathize with their challenges
• Design mobile and web experiences for customers and internal tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define roadmaps and prioritize impactful work
• Ship high-quality, crafted experiences and iteratively improve them
• Advocate for customer-centric design and elevate overall design quality
• Prototype to communicate ideas and build conviction during decision-making

Key requirements

• Portfolio of well-crafted, impact-driven work solving real problems
• Experience designing for mobile and web/Desktop surfaces, including internal tools
• Prototyping as a default method to present work
• Ability to identify the right thing to build through early concepts and prototypes
• Experience with design systems to produce scalable, attractive designs
• Evidence-based design with clear, credible decision rationales
