Overview

As a Project Manager in automotive lighting, you will own end-to-end product development from concept to production. You will align design, engineering and customer requirements, solving problems with evidence-based decisions under pressure. You will drive delivery against the product roadmap, ensuring milestones, budgets and quality standards. This role offers impact by shaping lighting products for regulatory, performance and aesthetic success within a customer-first culture.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end project delivery, achieving milestones on time, within budget and to quality standards
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to keep projects on track and within budget
  • Lead meetings, drive actions, and ensure accountability across the team
  • Report project health to stakeholders, highlighting risks and mitigation plans
  • Oversee development of lighting products meeting regulatory, performance and aesthetic requirements
  • Manage product customisations, change requests and technical support within KPIs
  • Define and improve product standards and documentation
  • Troubleshoot issues and make critical decisions under pressure

Key requirements

  • Relevant technical experience with genuine understanding of the product development process
  • Proven track record delivering multiple concurrent projects from concept to production (automotive/manufacturing background preferred)
  • Strong command of project management tools and reporting
  • Excellent task and time management, follow-up discipline, and stakeholder management
  • Confident communicator with ability to articulate goals, tasks and risks
