Overview
As a member of the Work Experience team, you will support the delivery and evaluation of work-based learning activities to enhance students’ employability. You will handle front-line queries, provide timely guidance, and coordinate administrative tasks for internships and volunteering programs. The role sits within Careers Network, contributing to a broader mission of improving student experiences and outcomes. You will work with cross-functional colleagues and data to monitor progress and suggest improvements, making an impact on students’ futures.

Responsibilities
- Act as a primary information point for students, employers, and staff, guiding processes and resolving queries to resolution
- Regularly communicate information to students via Verint and other channels
- Provide administrative support for diary management, events, programme delivery and evaluation
- Process and verify data (financial, HR, student-related, etc.), track accuracy, and escalate as needed
- Utilise complex systems to research, analyse data, and generate routine reports
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders, handle disputes, and share best practices
- Support committees/meetings with secretarial tasks and note-taking where required
- Contribute to process improvements and pilot new ways of working
- Promote equality and inclusion in daily work and interactions
Key requirements
- GCSEs to grade C/4 in Mathematics and English or equivalent level 2 qualification
- Strong IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office and MS Teams
- Good data management and record-keeping abilities
- Ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks
- Proactive, customer-focused service mindset
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience with complex work systems (student databases, finance, HR systems) and adaptability to new IT tools
- Experience in supporting committees/meetings in a secretarial capacity is desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-moving environment and respond to change
