You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability and respond to on-site issues, driving steady improvements. You’ll handle preventative and corrective maintenance, monitor site conditions, and contribute to ongoing infrastructure projects. Responsibilities
- Facility infrastructure maintenance to keep systems running smoothly
- Site inspections and monitoring of building and data center alarms
- Preventative maintenance on UPS, generators, BMS, chillers and life safety systems; manage permit to work and vendor coordination
- Repairs and corrective maintenance of critical equipment to minimize downtime
- Planned maintenance activities to ensure reliability
- Documentation of logs, MOPs, and scripts
- Assist in incident response and basic incident handling
- Complete work requests and circuit installations
- Participate in ongoing infrastructure projects and site enhancements
Key requirements
- ONC/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Previous data centre or critical environment experience beneficial
- In-depth understanding of UPS, generators, BMS, chillers and life safety systems
- HV switching experience preferred
