Overview

As a Principal Electrical Engineer in our mission-critical practice, you lead electrical design for megawatt-scale data centres and related facilities. You set strategy, own technical direction, and mentor engineers while engaging demanding clients and signing off approaches. You work on concurrent maintainability, fault tolerance, standby power, and robust redundancy. This is a high-impact role with international reach, offering a clear path toward associate and beyond. You will shape projects at scale and drive resilient power solutions across large, multi-site portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design at principal level and set technical direction
• Mentor engineers and develop the team
• Engage with clients and sign off engineering approaches
• Develop and manage megawatt-scale data centre power infrastructure
• Address concurrent maintainability, fault tolerance, standby power, and redundancy in designs
• Operate on large, international projects with clear growth trajectory

Key requirements

• Mission-critical background in data centres or similar facilities
• Experience leading design at principal level with client-facing responsibilities
• Ability to sign off on technical approaches and be the main technical authority
• Experience with megawatt-scale power systems and redundancy strategies
• Mentoring and team leadership capabilities
