Overview
As a Transactional Executive in Clyde & Co’s Real Estate & Infrastructure Finance team, you support lawyers by creating and formatting high-quality transaction documents based on market-standard forms. You establish robust templates and provide word processing support across live transactions. You manage document setup, numbering, formatting and presentation to ensure client-ready deliverables under tight deadlines. You work closely with lawyers and business services to deliver complete, well-organised document suites and drive efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Create, format and maintain high-quality transaction documents based on LMA and market-standard templates
- Establish and maintain robust template documents, styles and precedents for the team
- Assist with document setup, numbering, cross-references, tables, schedules, signatures and presentation
- Maintain records of template updates, versions and drafting standards
- Provide guidance on document templates, styles and formatting conventions
- Identify opportunities to improve document production processes and efficiency
- Prepare and finalise suites of transaction documents under demanding deadlines
- Collaborate with lawyers and business services to deliver complete document sets
- Respond to document production requests and manage multiple tasks with clear progress updates
- Support live financing transactions with mark-ups, version control and drafting changes
- Deliver professional, high-quality service to internal stakeholders across real estate, infrastructure and structured finance
Key requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (styles, numbering, tables, cross-references, tracked changes, complex formatting)
- Proficiency in other MS Office apps (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and supporting tools (iManage, document comparison software)
- Experience in a document production, legal support or transaction support role
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and presentation
- Ability to work with large, complex document sets and fast-moving amendments
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise under time pressure
- Clear written and verbal communication with stakeholders and lawyers
