Controls & Robotics Engineer

Overview

As a Controls & Robotics Engineer, you will design and program bespoke automated control systems for diverse sectors. You will manage projects end-to-end, install and commission on-site, and provide technical support to clients and teams. This role combines hands-on hardware/software work with project leadership to deliver tailored automation solutions. You will engage with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure reliable, efficient systems and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Design and program PLC, HMI, network and SCADA systems from concept to realization
• Lead projects from concept through delivery
• Perform onsite installation, commissioning, testing and customer training
• Service, fault-find and improve control/robotic systems
• Provide technical support to clients and engineering teams when required

Key requirements

• Proven industrial controls and robotics engineering experience
• Proficient in PLC programming using Allen-Bradley and Siemens
• Experience managing projects from concept to delivery
• Willingness to travel for commissioning projects
• Electrical design software experience such as EPLAN would be beneficial
