Principal Implementation Consultant

Overview

In this role you will lead complex OneTrust implementations as a trusted advisor, shaping solution design and delivery to maximize customer value. You’ll work across Delivery Managers, CX teams, and Product to align outcomes with platform capabilities and best practices. You’ll stay current with industry trends to influence delivery strategies and platform direction. This is a hands-on, strategic position focused on driving adoption, value realization, and scalable success for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design and architecture for complex OneTrust implementations aligned to customer outcomes and best practices
• Act as the solution authority across engagements to ensure high-quality delivery
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with strategic customers as a senior advisor
• Analyze customer processes and provide strategic recommendations to optimize platform use
• Monitor adoption and usage to ensure long-term value and alignment with goals
• Partner with Delivery and Project Managers to manage risks, dependencies, and escalations
• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex implementation challenges
• Collaborate with CX Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Success on scoping and transitions
• Represent the voice of the customer with Product Management and Engineering to influence platform direction
• Mentor and contribute to delivery methodologies and the development of others

Key requirements

• 8+ years in a client-facing Professional Services role in a SaaS environment
• Proven track record delivering enterprise IT projects as an individual contributor or team lead
• Experience engaging across Professional Services and Product Management
• Experience planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating SaaS implementation projects; preferably in Data Privacy or enterprise software
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including chairing meetings or hosting webinars
• Direct experience implementing and supporting large enterprise solutions
• Relationship and customer management expertise
• Willingness to travel (10–20%)
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
