Network Design Engineer – (Wi-Fi, Wireless, LAN & WAN)

Overview

In this role you will design scalable, secure and high-performing networking and infrastructure solutions for enterprise clients. You will work closely with clients to assess environments, build proposals and support delivery of networking projects. You will conduct Wi‑Fi assessments and design reviews to identify opportunities for performance and security improvements. This is a client-facing position within a growing technology consultancy that delivers complex IT environments across the UK and Europe. You will shape technical designs and guidance that enable successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyse client requirements
• Design networking and infrastructure solutions aligned with business objectives
• Conduct network and Wi-Fi assessments, surveys and audits
• Produce technical designs, proposals, documentation
• Support project delivery and provide technical guidance to internal teams and clients
• Identify opportunities to improve performance, resilience and security
