Overview
In this role you will provide expert technical support for passive fire protection, focusing on cavity barriers and firestops within building envelopes. You will work with cross‑functional teams to resolve project-specific design and installation queries and ensure compliance with standards. The position involves analysing specifications and drawings, keeping knowledge up to date with regulations, and logging inquiries in the CRM. You’ll be key to delivering accurate technical guidance that drives project success and customer satisfaction. This role offers hands-on impact in a growing construction manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide timely, accurate technical support on passive fire protection cavity barriers and firestops with a building envelope focus
- Collaborate with project management to address technical queries and align solutions with project requirements and product specifications
- Analyse technical specs, drawings, and project plans to advise on product selection and regulatory compliance
- Record technical inquiries and responses in the in-house CRM system
- Stay current with industry standards and regulations related to passive fire protection of the building envelope and apply to support activities
Key requirements
- Experience in a technical role, preferably passive fire protection
- Experience in technical writing, including creation of technical reports
- Construction background
- Exceptional communicator (written and verbal)
- Detail-oriented
