Business Intelligence Analyst

Overview

In this role you will help make Axiom more data-driven by surfacing operational insights and ensuring data assets are reliable. You will query, clean, and publish data, and build dashboards and reports used by cross-functional teams to inform decisions. You will work closely with Product, Technology, Finance, Sales, Marketing and Operations to translate business questions into actionable analytics. This is a growth-focused position that supports a data culture and governance initiatives. You’ll gain hands-on experience while shaping how the business uses data to drive impact.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and address business questions with reporting solutions
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools for daily operational and analytics needs
• Maintain and monitor ETL jobs and data pipelines to ensure reliable data delivery
• Perform data QA, troubleshoot reporting issues, and ensure data integrity across sources
• Document data definitions, lineage, and access policies to aid organizational knowledge
• Partner with software engineering and IT to understand data structures and implement basic BI solutions
• Adhere to and promote data governance and security policies

Key requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence
• Hands-on experience with at least one BI tool (Tableau preferred; others: Power BI, Sisense, Qlik)
• Solid SQL knowledge and relational database experience (PostgreSQL, SQL Server)
• Familiarity with data cleaning, ETL concepts, and cloud platforms (e.g., Databricks)
• Exposure to enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, Workday, or Greenhouse is a plus
