Electrical Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead electrical building services for high-value data centre projects, guiding design from concept to delivery. You join a multidisciplinary team delivering resilient, energy-efficient facilities that support critical digital infrastructure. You will engage clients, mentor junior engineers, and drive digital tools to improve project delivery. Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design strategy for data centres from feasibility through delivery
• Coordinate with internal specialists and external sub-consultants to deliver integrated solutions
• Own project performance including finances, schedules, resources, and QA
• Act as main technical contact for clients and lead design discussions
• Mentor and delegate tasks to junior engineers and design teams
• Explore and implement digital tools and integrated design methods to improve efficiency

Key requirements

• Degree in Electrical, Building Services, or Architectural Engineering (Chartered CEng status via IET, CIBSE, or equivalent)
• Proven track record leading electrical building services design for data centres or other mission-critical environments
• Technical leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex local and international projects
• Strong knowledge of UK and international industry standards, codes, and regulatory frameworks
