Overview
In this role you will perform planned and reactive maintenance at a London site, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and delivering high-quality service. You will work closely with the team and clients to communicate effectively, use CAFM and reporting tools, and support the management team with quotations and site activities. The position combines hands-on electrical/mechanical maintenance with safety, documentation, and collaboration to uphold the company’s standards. This is an on-site, daylight-shift opportunity with a focus on reliability, safety, and professional service.

- Overtime x1.5 on weekdays and x2 on weekends

Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance per PPM and task schedules
- Undertake PPM activities in a quality, professional manner
- Produce technical and situational reports as required
- Utilize technology systems to ensure contractual compliance
- Communicate clearly with team and clients
- Provide first line out-of-hours call-out for the site
- Write activity reports accurately and timely
- Assist management with quotations by providing accurate information for extra works
- Attend team meetings and briefings
- Provide accurate timesheet information weekly
- Maintain a professional company image on site
- Manage reactive maintenance as directed by Help Desk/management
- Escalate major site issues to line manager
- Manage integral sub-contractors on-site
- Understand HSE and quality legislation and responsibilities
- Handle materials and equipment with safety considerations
- Participate in safety processes, including investigation, risk assessments, and auditing
- Follow reasonable instructions from Contract Manager/Line Managers
- Co-operate to fulfill legal and moral duties
- Update Client CAFM system
- All other reasonable instructions from management
Key requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in maintenance or similar
- Electrical/Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent
- C&G Pts. 1 & 2 or equivalent
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring and Installation (training to upgrade from 17th Edition possible)
- C&G 2391 test and inspection; BS 7671:2001 for inspection, testing and certification
- Excellent communication skills across all staff levels
- Proactive in achieving high standards of operation
- Good IT and report writing skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet client deadlines
