Design Engineer

Overview

In this contract role you will design mechanical and structural components for a specialist vehicle project using CREO, delivering high-precision designs. You will be part of a focused engineering team in the West Midlands, contributing to a critical vehicle program. The contract is hybrid and initially six months, offering practical project exposure and potential for continued collaboration. This is a hands-on opportunity to apply advanced CAD skills to a demanding, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical/structural design work using CREO for a specialist vehicle project
• Create and modify components and assemblies to meet specifications
• Collaborate with engineering teammates to integrate designs into the overall system

Key requirements

• Proficient in CREO with a solid background in high-precision mechanical design
• SC clearance or ability to obtain/verify clearance
