Associate Structural Engineer

Overview

In this role you will deliver structural engineering across diverse building projects in a multidisciplinary London team, ensuring quality, program alignment and commercial performance. You will guide design from concept to construction and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve coordinated outcomes. You’ll oversee project performance, resources, budgets, and client-facing activities while contributing to business development. Responsibilities

• Own structural engineering delivery across building projects with focus on technical quality, schedule adherence and commercial performance
• Guide design solutions from concept through construction in collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Oversee project performance including resources, programme, and budget control
• Maintain alignment with client expectations and internal standards
• Support client relationship management and participate in bids and proposals to drive business development
• Contribute to team development and a collaborative, high-performing work environment
• Support growth initiatives and influence future project opportunities

Key requirements

• BEng in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with IStructE or ICE, or working toward chartership
• Experience supporting or leading engineers and interest in mentoring
• Interest in building client relationships and contributing to business development
