Responsibilities

• Create innovative, highly leveraged insights content to address client priorities
• Develop new ideas through thought leadership and expert analysis for actionable client approaches
• Conduct in-depth analysis to identify root causes and reframing client needs to drive strategy
• Establish thought leadership across the analyst team and influence Gartner’s research agenda
• Engage clients via meetings, conferences, and briefings with provocative, independent insights
• Predict market trends and provide actionable guidance on technology strategy
• Deliver high-value presentation materials for events, conferences, and client briefings
• Provide sales support by voicing the market and driving client engagement
• Deliver timely content for peer review and build credibility as an industry expert
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate across the Insights community
• Identify and develop process improvements for service delivery
• Maintain client-centric focus and foster regular engagement with Gartner insights

Key requirements

• 12+ years of relevant field experience
• Direct, hands-on leadership of enterprise-wide AI implementation projects across IT and business units
• Experience advising C-Suite on technology strategy and business process redesign in AI contexts
• Strong technical understanding of emerging technologies, including agentic AI
• Ability to evaluate market signals for informed technology investments
• Executive presence and credibility with executives and stakeholders
• Strong organizational, research, and writing skills; high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical and presentation skills
• Proficiency in data analysis, pattern application, and defending conclusions
• Excellent communication, cross-functional collaboration, and client engagement abilities
• Subject matter expertise with comfort presenting at various scales
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Deep knowledge of global markets and competitive landscape in the subject area
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural global team
