Overview
In this role you will provide high‑quality credit opinions for European structured finance transactions, including mortgages, consumer loans and CLOs. You will work with a cross‑functional team to apply Fitch criteria, build cash flow and default models, and present rating proposals to internal committees. You will engage with originators, arrangers and investors to explain credit rationale and contribute to developing assessment criteria. This is a hands‑on, impact‑driven position at a global market leader embracing a challenger mindset.

Responsibilities
- Implement default, recovery and cash flow modelling for structured finance deals
- Review transaction legal documents
- On‑site review of underwriting and servicing of originators and CLO managers
- Prepare rating proposals for internal rating committees
- Communicate rating rationale to investors and market participants via presale reports, presentations and meetings
- Engage with transaction arrangers and originators to understand asset characteristics and structural features
- Assist in development of criteria and supporting research
Key requirements
- Some prior experience in finance
- Knowledge of securitisation structures; CLOs beneficial
- Highly numerate and analytical with advanced Excel skills
- Ability to review and analyse legal contracts from a credit risk perspective
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English
