Overview
In this role you will handle complex EPL matters within a leading international law firm’s Insurance Group, supporting insurers and insureds through all stages of litigation. You’ll work closely with partners and senior lawyers to manage a varied caseload, deliver timely, commercial advice, and contribute to training, process improvements, and client development. The position offers hybrid flexibility and a clear path for professional growth within a collaborative, inclusive team. You will help shape high-value EPL and professional indemnity work for major clients.

Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of EPL claims for leading Professional Indemnity Insurers and their insureds
- Advise insurers on policy coverage issues (D&O and management liability)
- Handle claims from pre-litigation through contested proceedings
- Deliver high-quality, timely advice aligned with client expectations and SLAs
- Contribute to team development, training, process improvements, and knowledge sharing
- Support business development and client relationship activity
- Capture and collate Management Information per client requirements
Key requirements
- 1–3 years PQE with experience in EPL or employment litigation
- Solid grounding in employment law and tribunal procedures
- Insurance experience is desirable but not essential
- Strong understanding of litigation processes and case management
- Ability to deliver commercial, pragmatic solutions
- Confidence in building client relationships and working collaboratively
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal IT systems
