Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer at Fortice, you’ll help build and automate the backbone of critical, high-availability applications for Central Government. You will collaborate across multiple teams to improve user experience and delivery while shaping infrastructure to meet Defence and Public Sector needs. You’ll solve complex workflows and drive automation using a modern tech stack. This role offers a chance to grow technically and contribute to secure, impactful projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate infrastructure workflows to improve efficiency and reliability
• Collaborate across multiple teams to deliver high-availability applications
• Enhance user experience through robust infrastructure and platforms
• Contribute to projects delivering into Central Government customers
• Maintain and optimize VMware and RHEL environments in production

Key requirements

• Strong VMware and RHEL experience
• Senior/lead level with proven ability to work across teams
• Eligibility for UK Security Vetting at a high level or already held
• Hands-on automation and scripting capabilities
• Experience delivering complex digital projects in the public sector
