Overview

In this role you will own end-to-end supply chain execution for Wayve’s programmes and product builds, spanning prototypes, NPI, and fleet launches. You’ll lead cross-functional coordination between Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, and external partners to meet timelines and quality standards. The role suits a fast-moving, hardware-focused environment where strategic thinking combines hands-on execution. You’ll shape supply chain readiness and partner relationships across regions, delivering impact on programme efficiency and supplier performance.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary Supply Chain lead for assigned programmes and internal product builds (prototypes, NPI, subassemblies)
  • Own material readiness to support milestones across R&D, Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Sourcing, Logistics, Finance, and Suppliers to align supply chain activities with timelines
  • Serve as the strategic liaison between hardware engineering and procurement, managing demand aggregation
  • Translate engineering BOMs and aggregate TPM demand into procurement plans
  • Identify long-lead items and critical path components early in the product lifecycle
  • Track material status through build phases and escalate gaps or risks
  • Manage upfitter/partner relationships to meet timelines and quality standards
  • Drive upfitter/partner activities and resolve issues impacting vehicle build readiness
  • Maintain communication cadence with upfitters and stakeholders, tracking milestones and escalating risks
  • Define, track, and report on supply chain KPIs, establish dashboards and cadences
  • Analyse KPI trends to identify root causes and drive corrective actions with suppliers and internal teams
  • Leverage KPI insights to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase programme efficiency

Key requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain programme management, NPI, and hardware operations
  • Strong BOM management, material planning, and procurement process understanding
  • Automotive, consumer, hardware, or robotic industry experience preferred
  • Familiarity with supplier compliance frameworks including TISAX, ISO standards, and ethical sourcing
  • Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional programmes across Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
