Project Engineer (FMCG / Process Engineering)

Overview

As a Project Engineer in FMCG process engineering, you will lead process design and delivery on bespoke projects for a range of clients. You’ll work within a specialist project team from concept to completion, coordinating internal and external stakeholders. The role offers training, progression, and hands-on exposure to commissioning and performance testing, with a clear path to becoming the go-to specialist in a thriving national business.

Responsibilities

• Process lead for assigned FMCG projects and work packages
• Lead process design outputs (P&IDs, component schedules, design risk assessments)
• Coordinate internal disciplines, subcontractors and suppliers; conduct customer project reviews
• Plan installation and lead commissioning, start-up and performance testing

Key requirements

• Proven project delivery experience within FMCG (food / beverage / dairy or similar)
• Engineering qualification with strong communication and organisational skills
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel / stay away as required
