to join our respective facility’s maintenance teams. In these critical roles, you will be the first responder to machine failures, responsible for root-cause fault finding, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of CNC milling and turning centers to minimize production downtime and keep our manufacturing operations running efficientlyPrimary responsibilities:Carrying out fault finding, problem solving and planned and preventative maintenance on all CNC machinesAble to work under your own initiative with minimum supervision.Minimising downtimeSupport all aspects of continuous improvementKnowledge and skills:Experience in a variety of CNC control systems and machine types.Experience of Electrical and mechanical fault findingExperience in repairing gearboxes, ball screws, pumps, motorsExperience in 5 axis machine alignmentUnderstanding of PLC LaddersExperience and education:Completion of a relevant apprenticeship and hold engineering qualification (Equivalent to level 3)A solid engineering background within the machine tool industryMinimum 5 years experience in CNC maintenance.Good knowledge of HSE regulations.Further Details:Rate: £30.00 per hour (shift uplift for Afternoons & Nights) *role is INSIDE IR35*Benefits:Company pensionCycle to work schemeEmployee discountFree parkingHealth & wellbeing programmeLife insuranceOn-site parkingShifts/Hours:The role will involve 4-6 weeks of training and then these shifts:3-week rotation of Days, Afternoons and Nights, hours as follows:Days – Mon to Thurs, 7 am to 4 pm, Friday 7 am to 12 pmAfternoons – Mon to Thurs, 2 pm to 10 pm, Friday, 1 pm to 8 pmNights – Mon to Weds, 8 pm to 6 am, Thursday, 8 pm to 5 amLocation(s):Sherwood Business Park, Willow Drive, Annesley, Nottingham, NG15 0DTCrown Farm Industrial Estate, Crown Farm Way, Forest Town Mansfield Nottinghamshire NG19 0FT
