Overview
As Electrical Contract Engineering Lead, you drive technical oversight of the electrical equipment procurement contract within the EPR-E scope. You act as the primary client contact, manage supplier interfaces and contract changes, and coordinate technical input across engineering leads to ensure on-time, compliant delivery. You will work with cross-functional teams across France and the UK on HPC/SZC initiatives, shaping how electrical design and procurement meet safety and performance standards. This role offers visible impact on major nuclear projects and the opportunity to strengthen risk management and documentation quality.

Responsibilities
- Primary client contact for electrical equipment contract and technical support
- Oversee supplier technical management during execution (schedule, cost, scope, technical studies)
- Review supplier documentation for standards compliance and quality
- Coordinate work of technical leads and SMEs to meet deadlines
- Produce/manage comment sheets and organise clarification meetings
- Manage contract modifications and CTS communications to client
- Lead modifications and impact assessments for contract scope and site issues
- Handle risks, opportunities, open points, and contract changes with the client
- Coordinate interfaces with Edvance disciplines and detailed design teams
- Coordinate with qualification team in Edvance France
- Monitor Delivery to Site (DTS) dates for equipment
Key requirements
- Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience with electrical distribution components and technical documentation review
- Ability to manage own workload and produce high-quality documents to deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Clear written and spoken English communication
- Proactive and confident in communicating with remote offices (France)
- Proactive in building positive project relationships
